Here you will find information about our Annual Giving Campaign, which is running alongside the Clear Water Academy Fund-A-Need Appeal. Watch for more information regarding Fund-A-Need in the coming months, and how you can get involved.
WHAT IS THE ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGN?
We want the absolute best for your children, and the Annual Giving Campaign helps to support the basic operating expenses of our school. These include:
• Electricity. Without the Annual Giving Campaign we would be in the dark.
• Salaries for our talented teaching and administrative staff.
• Curriculum essentials. Text books and library books are supplied through a gift to the Annual Giving Campaign.
• Technology. Last year, a generous donation through the Annual Giving Campaign paid for Mimio Technology in some classrooms, allowing for a more interactive teaching approach. Additionally,funds from the Annual Giving Campaign paid for all new computers in our computer lab.
• Athletics. We have an excellent athletic program; support of the Annual Giving Campaign equips our athletes with better uniforms and provides our Athletic Director with the gear to train our athletes as needed.

HOW IS THE ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGN DIFFERENT FROM THE FUND-A-NEED APPEAL?
The Annual Giving Campaign generates income to support the operating expenses of the school, as outlined above. Gifts are pledged on a yearly basis, and the Campaign reoccurs each year. The Fund-A-Need Appeal raises capital for the improvement of our facilities, such as renovations to Athlone Hall. In short, the Annual Giving Campaign supports Operating Expenses; the Fund-A-Need Appeal supports Capital to maintain and improve physical assets.
I DON’T GET IT. I PAY TUITION; WHY DO I NEED TO GIVE MORE?
We know, it seems like a lot. The truth of the matter is that even when coupled with government grants the revenue generated by tuition does not fully cover the cost of a Clear Water Academy education. We are unique. Our commitment to Integral Formation and gender style education requires a significant investment. In order to keep this prized method of education viable while ensuring that our tuition is affordable for families, we must have another source of revenue. Thus,the need for our Annual Giving Campaign.

Your contribution at any level demonstrates your support of our efforts on behalf of your children and helps us reach our community goal of 100% participation in the Annual Giving Campaign. Your gift matters.
WHY IS 100% PARTICIPATION SO IMPORTANT?
The Annual Giving Campaign, more so than any other fundraising initiative, binds together alumni, families, and faculty in a common vision. It offers an opportunity to transform individual generosity into a collective force, invigorating the school with energy and purpose. The percentage of participation is a critical factor in our ability to demonstrate broad-based support when foundations and corporations consider making a contribution to Clear Water Academy. Further, the Annual Giving Campaign has potential to create long-lasting change, and with increased participation, the possibilities for additional programs and resources become virtually infinite.
GIVING THROUGH UNITED WAY
When you donate to United Way you can direct your funds to Clear Water Academy. Our charitable registration number is: 89365 0259. When Clear Water Academy is named the “donor of choice” on any United Way gift, we receive 100% of the value of the gift, minus $12 per person annual administration fee. We are then able to use the balance of the donation to benefit Clear Water Academy. The monies donated to Clear Water Academy do not support any other United Way program.
MATCHING GIFTS
Many corporations have a policy of matching the contributions of their employees to educational institutions. If you happen to work for a company with a matching gift program and you donate to our Annual Giving Campaign, your company will match all or a percentage of your gift. This doubles the funding we receive, and allows for a better educational experience for your children. Please inquire with your company’s Human Resources department to find out if your company has a policy. Tuition amounts are not eligible for matching.
