Junior Kindergarten & Kindergarten: An Extraordinary Beginning

In the Clear Water Academy JK & K programs your child will receive a solid academic preparation, enjoy creative play, form new friendships, and flourish in an atmosphere of Christian faith. For a young child, every day is full of new discoveries. At Clear Water Academy,we tailor each child’s learning experience to their personal needs, helping them master one challenge after another so that the adventure of learning is always fresh and exciting. As part of our JK and K programs, we offer age-based Spanish instruction to broaden the language of our young students. Clear Water Academy welcomes young learners and helps them take their first steps along their educational journey. Young hearts are nourished in a loving and formative environment. Talented teachers open young minds to exploration and discovery.

Junior Kindergarten

JK sets the foundation for lifelong learning by nurturing socialization and classroom conduct while exposing the children to a creative and structured environment that will foster a love of learning. These opportunities equip the child with the skills needed to succeed both socially and academically. Junior Kindergarten offers children a gentle transition between preschool and our structured Kindergarten program. Through one-on-one, small group and whole group activities, students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of curricular activities with the emphasis placed on social development, following directions, and developing good work habits, and the development and mastery of curriculum expectations. Our JK program provides structure, academic foundation, study of the Catholic faith, and leadership opportunities. At Clear Water Academy our students are taught the value of faith, virtue and service to others, as a compliment to a strong academic curriculum. This program is offered for children who will be 4 years of age by December 31.

Program 1: Five Full Days a week: (8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)

Program 2: Five Mornings per week (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.)

Kindergarten

Kindergarten further develops young students with a love of learning and discovery. Through a balanced program of All of the specialty subjects offered in our elementary school are available in our Kindergarten program along with gym, and computers, structured academic instruction and play focused learning, children grow and thrive in our program. The program is offered for those children who will be 5 years of age by December 31.

Available Kindergarten Programs

Junior Kindergarten: Full Day: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday (Children must be four years of age by December 31, 2013) Mornings only: 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Monday to Friday.

Kindergarten: 5-Day: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday (Children must be five years of age by December 31, 2013).
