Admissions Process
Thank you for your interest in Clear Water Academy. The following is provided to guide you through the admissions process. To truly understand what Clear Water Academy has to offer, we invite and welcome all interested families to schedule a personal tour. Submit Application
Clear Water Academy processes applications on a first come-first served basis. Applications may be dropped off in person, mailed to Clear Water Academy, or emailed to Admissions@clearwateracademy.com. Once an application is submitted, complete with the required $200.00 application fee and all required documentation, your child's place will be held in your requested grade. The application fee may be paid by cheque - submitted with your application forms, or via credit card online. Please note that 4ward Thinking is now called Plastiq, effective June 1, 2012. Please visit www.plastiq.com and type in "Clear Water" in the merchant field on the home page to register as a new user, so that you can pay with a credit card. A processing fee of approximately 1.99% is assessed by Plastiq. This rate is subject to change.
NOTE: Parents who have already registered and have set-up a payment plan with 4ward Thinking will be transferred over to Plastiq automatically. The application fee may also be paid using credit card payments through www.plastiq.com.

New Student Assessments: Individual academic and readiness assessments are given to all students entering Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12. Upon receipt of your child's application we will contact you to schedule the assessment. Depending upon the grade level being assessed, parents and students should schedule to spend between 1 and 3 hours.
There is no additional fee for assessments.
Shadow Day: Students interested in Clear Water Academy are welcome to contact us to schedule a "Shadow Day". This is a great opportunity to experience a day in the life of a Clear Water Academy student.
Family Meeting: Once the student's application is received and the New Student Assessment has been completed, parents will be scheduled for a meeting with the school Principal or Assitant Principal. Students entering Grade 7 and higher attend the Family Meeting as well.
Notification of Acceptance: Following the Family Meeting, you will be notified of your child's acceptance status and will recieve all the necessary information for registering your child.
