What is included in the current Capital Campaign?

Clear Water Academy recently embarked upon a feasibility study to determine the potential success of an upcoming Capital Campaign. The Campaign, when launched, will be used to raise the funds for the purchase of land and buildings for our school. Our plan is to procure and renovate buildings from Canada Lands at the site we now occupy, as well as to secure additional land for future expansion.

How is a Capital Campaign different from an Annual Fund?

The Annual Fund generates income to help pay for the school’s operating expenses, such as salaries, benefits, equipment, educational tools, and maintenance of the facility.  As the name suggests, Annual Fund gifts are made each year.  Capital giving is for the acquisition of land and buildings, for construction, renovations, capital improvements and purchases.  Gifts made to a Capital Campaign are usually larger and pledged over several years.  Both Annual Fund and Capital Campaign gifts are fully tax deductible.
