Admissions FAQ

Q: Do you have to be Catholic to attend Clear Water Academy?

Clear Water Academy has an open admission policy and welcomes families of all faiths. Families need to be aware that Clear Water Academy offers a program rich in Catholic education and formation, which includes daily prayer, weekly Masses, access to the Sacrament of Reconciliation, religion classes, and a culture that is designed to help our students and families grow in their spirituality.

Q: Do you offer before and after care?

Out of School care is available from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. We also have a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) Program available after school.

Q: Do you offer bussing?

We are not currently offering bussing, but this may be something that is implemented in the future.

Q: When are decisions made about admittance?

Admission decisions are made approximately two to three weeks after the application and all admissions documents have been received. Enrollment decisions for the next academic year typically begin in late November.

Q: Do students wear uniforms?

Yes. Our uniform supports and builds decorum, and reinforces that we are a community. It also teaches our students that our focus should be not on our attire but on how we strive to become a better person each and every day.

Q: Do you offer a lunch program?

We do not have a cafeteria but, in a non-COVID-19 year, parents may purchase lunches Monday through Thursday from several suppliers via the Healthy Hunger online platform. This is not available to Junior Kindergarten students. Students eat lunch in their classrooms with their teachers.
