Our goal is to exceed $500,000 and reach 100% participation of our parents, board members, and faculty. We need every family to support our mission with an ongoing monthly or annual gift.

All of the donations received from the annual campaign will go straight to the bottom line of the balance sheet and go into the future capital needs of the school. None of the funds are being used for ongoing expenses or operations. Clear Water Academy management and the board of directors are determining the scope and costs of the upcoming projects so that a proper fundraising and financing budget can be built. Every dollar raised through the We Are CWA Campaign eliminates the need for future fundraising as projects approach the "shovel-ready" stage.

The tuition fees and government funding we receive for our students cover the regular operating costs of the school, including salaries and materials. However, these funds do not cover major capital projects, such as the expansion of Harvey Hall or the necessary renovations for Athlone.

More than two decades ago, our school initiated a fundraising campaign that has since raised a substantial amount of money, allowing us to build beautiful and functional facilities. However, there are still ongoing and future needs of the school that require additional funding. Many people have asked the same question over time, and your child has benefited from the generosity of visionary individuals paying it forward or back, as the case may be. This investment benefits not only your children but also generations of students to come through these forward-thinking school doors. Semper Altius!

Participation is as important as the amount donated and is the most significant way to demonstrate your confidence in the mission of Clear Water Academy. Foundations, corporations, and outside friends look to see how the current parent population feels about the mission. Supporting the Annual Campaign provides an indicator of how supportive current parents are with how the mission is being delivered, and 100% participation is the ideal message. Foundations and Corporations, in particular, will ask for the participation level in determining if a grant should be made. Participation helps foster more donations!

No. Support is requested of current parents, grandparents, past parents, past grandparents, alumni, faculty, staff, corporations, foundations, and friends of CWA. Our mission is too important and all avenues of support are explored.

With 307 families, the average gift per family would be $1,800 per year or $180 per month (from November 2023 through August 2024). Please consider that each family's financial circumstances are unique; some can't give this much, while others can give much more. God provides through us as a community when we each prayerfully discern how much to give. Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.
