Andy May
I am a member of the graduating class of 2014. After graduating from CWA, I completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Calgary in 2020. I am currently working as an accountant while pursuing my CPA designation.
During my time as a student, I was actively involved in co-curricular life, serving on the executive teams of two student clubs and eventually becoming president of one organization for two years. These leadership experiences were formative, but my most meaningful involvement has been through coaching with the Clear Water Crusaders.

I began as an assistant coach with the High School Varsity Basketball team, where we earned two provincial berths. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, I stepped into the role of Head Coach for both the Varsity Boys Basketball and Volleyball teams.
Under my leadership, the teams achieved three consecutive provincial berths, won a consolation championship, and earned a silver medal, marking one of the strongest periods in the program’s history. I concluded my 12-year coaching journey this past spring with the team securing its third championship banner.
Beyond athletics and professional life, one of my proudest milestones was marrying my wife, Aisha Cheung, in July 2024. She is currently a secondary teacher at Clear Water Academy. Our wedding was especially meaningful as it reflected the strength of the relationships formed through the CWA community, with many families and friends coming together to celebrate with us.
I have also had the privilege of serving on the Alumni Committee since its inception and currently serve as Vice Chair. I look forward to continuing to support and engage with the alumni community, many of whom I remain connected with through coaching, mentorship, and long-standing friendships formed over the years.
