Elementary | Grades 4 - 6

Building on the primary elementary foundation, Grades 4, 5, and 6 prioritize academic excellence and nurture character formation to grow in virtue, discipline, and maturity. We acknowledge and support robust brain research that affirms the advantage of gender-style education. Students in Grades 4 - 6 and Junior High, Grades 7 - 9, learn in separate boys' and girls' classrooms, allowing them to be engaged and challenged in an environment that best serves the learning styles of each sex. The result is a happier and more confident learner.

Our spacious classrooms, filled with natural light and designed to accommodate small class sizes, provide a safe and inspiring space for your child. Our dedicated faculty members shape the learning environment through their unique approach to teaching. Numerous field trips are organized throughout the year to foster collaboration, encourage exploration, enhance problem-solving skills, and facilitate the development of friendships among students.

Academic Achievement

Our upper elementary curriculum places a strong emphasis on core subjects such as Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies, showcasing students' ability to comprehend and apply essential concepts in our comprehensive Junior High program.

Through a robust intellectual foundation, students acquire a wealth of knowledge that enables them to engage in effective oral and written communication that is clear, coherent, and persuasive.

FUN, Formative, and Leadership Activities

Clear Water Academy hosts the Challenge & Conquest Clubs as an after-school program to nurture and strengthen a personal love of Jesus Christ among our students from Grades 4 to 12.

The program will include retreats, summer camps, ski trips, and camp-out missions. Challenge & Conquest Clubs foster a strong sense of community and support our school's mission of forming Christian leaders who will transform society.

Grades 4 - 6 Highlights

Athletics, Team Development, Languages & Fine Arts

In Grades 4–6, students at Clear Water Academy are encouraged to develop their God-given gifts through athletics, teamwork, and the arts. Physical Education builds athletic skill, cooperation, and leadership through structured classes, intramurals, and outdoor education field trips that offer meaningful experiences such as hiking, archery, and campfires. Students develop their language skills from a young age through Spanish and French classes. Fine Arts are integrated into students’ academic and spiritual lives through music and drama, helping students express creativity, confidence, and respect for others. Together, these programs support the formation of the whole child—mind, body, and spirit—rooted in faith and community.
