Mark Dumbrique
I graduated from Clear Water Academy in 2012, after which I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Queen’s University. An opportunity to start up a brokerage led me to the risk management and insurance industry; I am currently an Associate Account Executive in the Energy Risk Management practice at Aon, where I advise a broad range of energy clients in order to understand, quantify, and mitigate their risks. I hold the Canadian Risk Management designation from the Risk and Insurance Management Society, am a Fellow at the Lumen Institute, and a NextGEN Fellow at Cardus.

Active in the Calgary choral community, I sing with the Calgary Philharmonic Chorus and am regularly engaged by a number of professional and amateur ensembles in the city, including the Cathedral Church of the Redeemer, Firebird Symphony and Chorus, Marquis Chamber Orchestra and Chorus, Saint Hildegard Singers, and Saint John the Evangelist. In 2025, I had the privilege of premiering two works, Litaniae Sanctae Joseph and Regina Caeli, by local composer Carlos Foggin as part of the Diocese’s Jubilee celebrations. The former work was released for streaming on Amazon Music, Apple Music, and Spotify in March 2026.

At the school, I coached volleyball for three seasons, have served on the Alumni Committee for the past five years, and am the first alumnus to serve on the Board of Directors. My wife, Theresa, is a violinist in the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra. We were married on the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in 2024 and recently had the great joy of welcoming our first child.
