Parent Advisory Council (PAC)

Michael’s people-focused nature and strong belief in giving back led him to join the Parent Advisory Council (PAC). He’s passionate about being involved in his children’s educational journey and faith formation, knowing how important it is to be an active part of their growth. With two children at Clear Water Academy—one in Grade 3 and the other in Grade 6—Michael is a dedicated member of the school community. Beyond CWA, he is deeply committed to revitalizing faith and bringing people back to the Church, actively serving on committees for St. Mary’s Cathedral and volunteering his time throughout the Calgary diocese. In his spare time, Michael loves travelling and enjoying the great outdoors with his family. You’ll often find him in the school’s playground, chatting with fellow parents.

Silvia and her husband, Carlos, are proud parents of three children at Clear Water Academy: Sergio, who graduated in 2018, Laura, currently in Grade 10; and David, who is in Grade 5. Since 2011, Silvia has been an active and dedicated volunteer at CWA, contributing her time to Multicultural Days, Gala, Fun Family Dinners, and the Parent Advisory Council. Her involvement is driven by her strong belief in the school's mission to offer excellent academics while nurturing students in the Catholic faith.  In her free time, Silvia enjoys baking, DIY projects, camping, and hiking - activities she often enjoys with her family.

Ramel and his wife, Christine, are proud parents of four children at Clear Water Academy in Grades 6 (Roman), 8 (Rayna), and 12 (Carter & Lauryn). For their family, Clear Water Academy has truly been a blessing, providing not only a strong formation for their children but also fostering lasting friendships since their older kids started in Junior Kindergarten. Clear Water Academy has been a blessing for their family. They are grateful for their children's formation at the school and for the friends they have connected with since their older kids started at the Junior Kindergarten level. Ramel enjoys talking about sports with anyone who will listen.

Nicholas and his wife Rebecca are proud parents of six children, with five currently attending Clear Water Academy. A native Calgarian, Nicholas has always had a passion for debate, model Parliament, and model UN, which he pursued during his high school and university years. Today, he applies that same enthusiasm in his career, focusing on public policy and regulatory affairs in the oil and natural gas industry. After a brief time away from work and school, Nicholas returned to Calgary to raise his family. Together, they share a love for travel, music (and Highland dancing!), and birdwatching, creating wonderful memories along the way.

Since 2005, Bill has faithfully served as the Executive Director of Clear Water Academy. Together with his wife, Tracy, to whom he's been married for over 30 years, they've been blessed with five children, all of whom have walked the halls of Clear Water Academy. Bill's deep devotion to both his family and the school community reflects his profound love and commitment. His leadership is a beautiful example of Christian stewardship and sacrificial love, values that are at the heart of the Catholic faith and deeply cherished within the Clear Water Academy family.

Darren has been a part of the Clear Water Academy family since 2009. His deep love for teaching has always been his guiding star, inspiring his work with students and families alike. Both of his children attended and graduated from Clear Water Academy, making the school a second home for his family. What Darren values most is the nurturing, supportive environment Clear Water Academy provides, allowing children to grow and flourish at their own pace, free from unnecessary pressures. For Darren, Clear Water Academy is more than just a school—it’s a place that truly loves and educates the whole child.

Father Anthony is a devoted priest of the Legionaries of Christ, whose faith and love for service have been the heart of his ministry since his ordination by Pope John Paul II in 1994. He has touched countless lives as a spiritual father in communities across Washington, DC, Raleigh, NC, and Dallas, TX. In San Jose, CA, Fr. Anthony also contributed his leadership as a board member at Clear Water Academy's sister school Canyon Heights Academy, and served as chaplain for the Young Catholic Professionals of Silicon Valley and Catholic Googlers at Google, Inc. In the fall of 2023, we were blessed to welcome Fr. Anthony to Clear Water Academy as Chaplain and Formation Director. Although his time with us has been short, Fr. Anthony has already become part of our family, living out the spirit of "We Are CWA!"

Natasha is a passionate and dedicated member of the Clear Water Academy community, using her natural gifts and talents to make a positive impact. Her commitment to the school’s mission shines through in both her professional and volunteer roles. As the Fund Development Specialist and Volunteer & Events Coordinator, Natasha plays a key role in promoting the values of Clear Water Academy while raising essential funds for campus growth and development. She has a true love for connecting with others in the Clear Water Academy family, and hosting events is always a must for her! Natasha, along with her husband Dwayne, and their two children, Alex (CWA Class of 2018) and Bella (CWA Class of 2026), have been a cherished part of the Clear Water Academy family since 2006.
