At Clear Water Academy, volunteers play an important role in the success of our programs, activities, and events. We appreciate the valuable work of our volunteers. There are many ways to volunteer in our school community. Please consider helping out, getting involved, and enriching the experience of our students!

Applying for a Police Check
All volunteers (including committee members, adult coaches, siblings over 18 years of age, and others) must have a valid and up-to-date Police Information Check (PIC) with a vulnerable sector search on file with the school. If you already have a Clear Water Academy PIC, please ensure it is still valid, as PICs are only valid for three years. It is important to monitor the expiration date of your PIC. If you don't have a PIC yet, you must complete the process before you can volunteer. When applying for your PIC, please note that there is a service fee of $21.25. If you live outside of Calgary, please visit your local RCMP detachment to complete the PIC requirements. For families new to Canada, there is a one-year waiting period before applying for a PIC.
