Every contribution, big or small, helps our students thrive.

1. Volunteer Opportunities

Leadership Roles/Coordinators Roles

Parent Advisory Council: Support school initiatives, foster community spirit, and strengthen relationships among families.

Volunteer Coordinator: Serve as the central point of contact for all volunteer activities. Help match volunteers with committees, events, and classroom opportunities, provide guidance to new volunteers, and support the school in tracking volunteer engagement. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys organizing, communicating, and seeing the big picture of volunteer involvement.

Join a Committee/Event Planning – Help plan and coordinate school events and initiatives:

Hospitality Team (PAC Sub-Committee): Organizing events such as Pasta Night (Oct 19), Faculty Appreciation Luncheon (Jan 23) and hosting other gatherings.

Debate Team (PAC Sub-Committee): Assist with coaching, organizing debates, and supporting students during competitions.

The Christmas Store Team (PAC Sub-Committee - Dec 1–4): Help students select gifts, wrap presents, and manage logistics.

Gala Committee Team: Plan and execute this year’s 30th Anniversary Gala (May 9). Roles include logistics, auction procurement, decorations, sponsorship outreach, and volunteer coordination.

Crusaders Athletics: Support athletic programs with game-day assistance, coaching, and event management.

Dad's Faith Team: Support events such as the Cornerstone Day Retreat (Sep 28), Men’s Weekend Retreat (Dec 5–7), and other Men’s Faith evenings.

Mom's Faith Team: Support events including the Full of Grace Retreat (Sep 27), Friday Night Light Series, Spring Weekend Retreat, and Advent by Candlelight (Nov 26).

ECYD Team: Support ECYD activities and retreats, helping youth grow in faith and leadership.

In-Class/Classroom Support - Assist with day-to-day classroom and school activities:

In-Class Representative: Serve as a liaison between teachers and parents, supporting classroom activities, field trips, and social events.

Classroom Activities & Field Trips: Volunteer for birthdays, projects, and educational excursions. Information shared via your In-Class Rep.

Classroom Driver: Must have $2 million liability insurance to drive students for off-campus activities.

2. Volunteer Requirements

All volunteers 18+ must have a valid Police Information Check (PIC) with a vulnerable sector search. PICs expire every three years. Service fee: $21.25. New Canadian families must wait one year before applying.

Volunteer Drivers & Auto Insurance: $2 million liability insurance is required to drive students for off-campus activities.
