Crusaders Athletics

Athletics has an intentional and significant role in the integral formation of students at Clear Water Academy. Beyond merely engaging in physical activity, participation in sports serves as a powerful avenue for students to cultivate their character and embody various virtues. The environment of sports provides a platform for Christian leaders to set and pursue goals, learn the value of perseverance in the face of adversity, and develop a strong work ethic.

One other remarkable aspect of our athletics program, particularly in recent years, is the extraordinary support of our alumni. This direct mentorship offers our current athletes a unique opportunity to learn from individuals who once walked the same path. It underscores the deep commitment and sense of community that our alumni hold for our school and highlights the importance of nurturing and training our Crusaders athletic teams to uphold the legacy that has been created.

High school students have the opportunity to be youth leaders for the Challenge and Conquest Clubs, guiding younger students on their faith journey. Challenge and Conquest are virtue-centered clubs in a fun and formative environment, students also participate in for service projects providing for a lived experience of faith in action.

High School Trips and Pilgrimages

Italy Pilgrimage CWA Students

At Clear Water Academy, high school students embark on extraordinary opportunities to travel with classmates, formation instructors and teachers to various destinations and share experiences that focus on the development of the whole student. These carefully planned trips serve to further enrich our strong academic program with an emphasis on the Human, Spiritual, and Apostolic dimensions of integral formation.

These excursions offer students invaluable experiences, including serving those in need, collaborative learning opportunities as a class, and the chance to cultivate independence, strengthen bonds with peers, and immerse themselves in diverse cultures.
