Fund Development Assistant

Position Overview

Clear Water Academy is seeking a candidate for the part-time position of Fund Development Assistant. 
  1. The Fund Development Assistant is responsible for assisting the Director of Campus Development and the Fundraising Committee in achieving the school's fundraising objectives, aligned with the mission of the school and the principles of a Regnum Christi School.
  2. The Fund Development Assistant must carry out their responsibilities with the awareness that they are, above all, an apostle of Christ. Their life, witness of faith, and professional dedication should serve as an example of the seriousness with which they view the mission entrusted to them. They should at all times model the characteristics of an effective Christian leader.
  3. This is a part-time role with the flexibility to work from home.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The specific responsibilities of the Fund Development Assistant include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and manage the school's annual fund development campaign
  • Develop relationships between the school and its donors: communicate with donors, mail-outs, surveys, forms, mailing lists
  • Administer the fundraising database, including maintaining a current contact database and accurately tracking contributions
  • Oversee donor recognition and stewardship programs
  • Organize events related to raising funds and/or recognizing donors
  • Prepare regular development reports, Board reports, and track progress, results, and statistics
  • Liaise with the accounting department to ensure consistent information regarding donations    
  • Research, draft proposals, and monitor grant submissions to external organizations
  • Liaise with the Communications & Community Engagement Team for all communications and marketing for various fundraising tasks



Reporting Structure

The Fund Development Assistant reports to the Director of Campus Development.
