Out of School Care

Clear Water Academy is pleased to offer two Out of School Care Programs:

Before and After School Care for Junior Kindergarten
Before and After School Care for Students in Kindergarten – Grade 6

We focus on creating a safe and nurturing environment consistent with the spirit of our school. This care extends to before and after school programs for Junior Kindergarten through Grade 6. Structured before-school activities prepare your child for their day through arts and crafts, painting, games, and dramatic play. After-school sessions include time for a snack, homework, outdoor recreation, games, crafts, and reading. Our Child Care Certified faculty design all sessions so children can continue learning while having fun in a familiar environment.

Fees

Options and Fees of the Out of School Program:

Before School Care (Program 1 & 2): $300 per month

Monday to Friday - 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Excluding school holidays and professional development (PD) days.

After School Care (Program 1 & 2): $450 per month

Monday to Thursday - 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday 2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. (early dismissal day) Excluding school holidays and professional development (PD) days.

Before and After School Care (Program 1 & 2): $700 per month

Excluding school holidays and professional development (PD) days.

Late Fee:

A late fee of $40 will be charged to parents who arrive after 5:30 p.m. to pick up their child(ren).

Refund Policy:

To provide for the required staffing levels, a minimum of 30-days notice is required to withdraw.

Health and Safety

Please ensure that your child(ren)’s Medical Form and Authorization for Medication Form have been updated/completed as part of the enrollment process.

In compliance with Child and Family Services regulations, your child will be signed in and out daily by staff. No student will be permitted to leave the school with anyone except a parent unless the permission waiver in our Out of School Care Registration form has been completed.

Registration

To register your child in the Out-of School Care Program(s), please log in to School Admin. In order to comply with licensing regulations, you must complete the registration process for each child. Please note that registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and given the high demand for the program, spots fill up quickly. If there is no availability for your child in the program of your choice, your name will be placed on a waitlist.

Please ensure that the Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) Form for Out of School Care for the applicable program(s) is completed and dated for the 1st day of the first and last months (only the months you have registered your child throughout the school year will be withdrawn).

The Out of School Care Programs will open on the first day of school. Only those children who have the following completed forms are deemed to be registered and will be eligible to participate on that date:

Out of School Registration Form
Student Medical Form
Authorization for Medication Form
Pre-Authorization Debit (PAD) Form

We offer students a pick-up and drop-off busing service for the 2025/2026 school year. The Clear Water Academy school bus currently makes three stops, running from Ascension Parish to Creekside Shopping Centre and Nosehill Drive. In the future, we intend to implement additional routes based on areas of highest demand.

Our dedicated busing service, operated by an experienced and qualified driver, provides the safest and most reliable transportation option for our students. This service is available for an additional fee, which can be paid monthly from September to July.
