Interim Assessment Coordinator

Position Overview

Clear Water Academy is accepting applications for the role of Interim Assessment Coordinator. The Interim Assessment Coordinator is responsible for providing assessments to new applicants of Clear Water Academy. The Interim Assessment Coordinator is one of the first people new families encounter at the school. They must carry out their responsibilities with the awareness that they are, above all, an apostle of Christ. Their life, witness, and professional dedication should be consistent with the mission entrusted to them as a member of Clear Water Academy.
 
This 12-month part-time position will begin in late March 2026. The role averages approximately 15-20 hours per week, depending on the number of new applicants to Clear Water Academy. Preference will be given to candidates who hold a Bachelor of Education degree.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Consistently display the hallmark warmth, charity, and hospitality of Clear Water Academy. 
  • Meet new families and welcome them to our school.
  • Review files of new students to help determine their suitability at CWA.
  • Provide effective administrative and clerical support for the Admissions Department at Clear Water Academy.
  • Schedule appointments and administer assessments to new students in a timely manner.
  • Mark the assessments according to the CTBS (Canadian Testing Basic Skills) grading system.
  • Communicate with families about assessment results and next steps in the Admission process.
  • Work in collaboration with the Assessment Team.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned. 
 
Reporting Structure:

The Assessment Coordinator is a member of the Admissions team and reports to the Admissions Director. 

Schedule:

The Interim Assessment Coordinator will be a part-time employee, working when needed, as this depends on the number of applications we receive. Hours for this position can vary each month, (averaging about 15-20 hours/week), typically within the 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. range. Occasional evening availability may be required for international assessments.  

 

Skills and Requirements:
  • Preference will be given to a Catholic applicant with a Bachelor of Education. 
  • Must possess superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a professional, customer service-oriented approach at all times, especially when dealing with families.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Google Cloud and Microsoft.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and balance the workload.
  • Exhibit the ability to work as part of a team.
