ECYD

Clear Water Academy is proud to offer an independent parent-led ECYD program for our students in Grades 4 to 8. ECYD stands for Encounters, Convictions, and Your Decisions and is a youth organization run by Regnum Christi. This extracurricular after-school program is an extension of our educational model of integral formation offered to students in a youth club format. Students in Grades 9 to 12 have the opportunity to be youth club leaders within ECYD.

ECYD meets every Friday after school for engaging and formational youth activities. For more information on joining ECYD, please contact Fr. Michael Picard, ECYD Chaplain.

ECYD NEWS!

Clear Water Academy students in Grades 5-8 displayed their athletic abilities and represented Calgary at the 3rd Annual ECYD National Tournament hosted by Sacred Heart Apostolic School in Indiana (USA) this weekend. Guided by Fr. Michael Picard, LC, the students participated in a variety of sports such as floor hockey, basketball, and soccer, and enjoyed skiing as well. Apart from the competition, the students also explored the beautiful city of Chicago, went sightseeing, and had a taste of a true Chicago-style meal. The trip also provided opportunities for the students to have Adoration and Mass along with their friends in Christ from other ECYD locations. This was truly an unforgettable experience for our students, creating lasting memories.
